Matthew Henson is special to me. I've been told by some family members on my Fathers side that we are somehow related to Matthew Henson, I've never researched it. My Father is from Maryland. One of the pictures of Matthew resembles my dad very much, which is cool. Also, I was born in Alaska and grew up in the North Pole. My brother and sister went to North Pole Elementary. I think if I am related to him, somehow, years later my Father and Grandfather ended up in the North Pole, and that my sister and I were born there. My Dad still lives there.
