As a 13 year old boy scout (Randallstown Maryland, 1961), I visited a basement museum in a private home that was owned by a relative of Matthew Henson. I was overwhelmed by Mr. Hensons accomplishments and by the artifacts that I was able to see up close. The home, as I remember, was on Route 26 near the Mondaamin Mall in Baltimore Maryland.
