Update! In fairness to Costco—since we mailed copies of these webpages to the CEO the prices may have been lowered to be in line with Drugstore.com—in fairness to us, when we documented these prices they were exactly what we said they were. Too high!
HIGH PRICE: Costco $14.95/50 = $.30/tablet
LOWER PRICE: Drugstore.com $13.95/90 = $.16/tablet
The main reason this one is popular is because it's good. It's extremely thorough about everything it discusses.

This is one of the most popular books
for the layman about prescription drugs

The main reason this one is popular is because it's good. It's extremely thorough about everything it discusses. Anyone who wants to be active in managing their health care, not just a passive recipient of doctors' orders, should own such a book....
Extensive descriptions of each drug (longer descriptions than that other book)
Nice table of "Benefits versus Risks" for each, lays out what to expect;
Includes virtually all brands, including Canadian brands, for each generic name.

Costco Web Pharmacy charged more for 50
tablets than Drugstore.com charged for 90 tablets! That is 93.55% higher!

Ok, we'll let you
refill your medication.
You live.
Nope, you cannot
refill your medication.
Sorry, you die.
My sarcastic comments (above) about the sudden appearance of the "New Contract" make the point clearly—if you don't "ACCEPT" you are "Costco Web Pharmacy shit-out-of-luck" and can die for lack of medication for all they care. That is what I think.
